How to get to Tyax Adventures
We are located approximately 4 – 6 hours by car North of Vancouver or 2 hours West of Lillooet, in the heart of the South Chilcotin. You can fly or drive to our location on the shore of Tyaughton Lake. Our Adventure Cabin can be found on the left-hand side of the driveway in front of Tyax Lodge. Please park in front of the cabin, leaving the right-hand side for Tyax Lodge guests.
If driving, take the Hurley FSR from Pemberton (with the appropriate 4WD clearance vehicle) or Carpenter Lake Road (Road 40) from Lillooet. Do not take the Highline Rd from D’Arcy as sometimes suggested by Maps. The drive to Tyaughton Lake from either direction includes gravel/dirt road.
