Summer 2020 with Tyax Adventures

-Goldbridge, British Columbia- June 4, 2020-

British Columbia Residents can now book Summer 2020 trips with Tyax Adventures. With the anticipation of British Columbia moving into Phase 3, Tyax Adventures has been busy planning out the details for its 21st season of operations.

“We have been working closely with the Backcountry Lodge Association of British Columbia (BLBCA) and Worksafe BC to put the final touches on our operating plan for this coming season. We have been establishing protocols and priorities to keep our guests and staff safe for this coming season” says Dale Douglas, President of Tyax Adventures. “Our average group size is 6 people, so we are well suited to provide a fun and safe recreational opportunity for people and families in the backcountry this summer. Mountain Bikers, Horseback Riders and Hikers can create their own bubbles and explore the pristine wilderness of the South Chilcotin, using Tyax Adventures’ wilderness guiding and infrastructure to facilitate their backcountry adventures.”

Customer Impacts

With over 20 years of logistics, planning and wilderness operations, Tyax Adventures is adjusting many operational procedures for the 2020 season. Returning guests will quickly notice some precautionary changes such as the requirement to wear face masks in the de Havilland Beaver floatplane. Upon completion of each flight the aircraft will be thoroughly cleaned for the subsequent group(s) of passengers. A complete view of our Covid – 19 Safety Plan will be available to guests prior to their trip.
